If the idea of attending a regular Jim Brickman concert makes your skin crawl, then the mere mention of a Brickman show featuring nothing but Disney songs such as “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah,” “Can You Feel the Love Tonight?” and “When You Wish Upon a Star” should induce panic attacks. If that’s not schlocky enough for you, then how about making it a matinee on Mother’s Day and dragging along dear ol’ Mom. It sounds like a bizarre recipe for the apocalypse: Jim Brickman piano music + Disney + Mother’s Day. Then again, if your mother likes Jim Brickman about as much as mine then watching her squirm in her seat throughout the show might be mildly entertaining. Don’t forget your earplugs, or better yet, an iPod. Jim Brickman performs 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Meyerson Symphony Center, 2301 Flora St. Tickets are $30 to $70.
