Many people claim to be poets. Relatively few are. But that’s OK. Good poetry is subjective. Kate Greenstreet is the real deal. No “cat…rat…mat” simplicity here; she actually weaves narrative, mystery and characters into her works. Greenstreet reads from selected works at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Jonsson Performance Hall at the University of Texas at Dallas, 800 W. Campbell Road in Richardson. Admission is free. Call 972-883-ARTS or visit ah.utdallas.edu/events. Learn more about Greenstreet at kickingwind.com.
