While comedian and “Funny or Die” vet Sebastian Maniscalco’s question “What’s Wrong With People?” (also the name of his recent Showtime special and DVD release), is a bit generic, the way in which he seeks the answers are not only hilarious, but insightful and spot-on. On Leno, he lampooned dudes who drink appletinis and wear flip-flops. Sounds like a regular Tuesday night to us, but he made it seem not only absurd, but made us ashamed to be those guys. His mixture of self-deprecation and brazen machismo is tough to pull off, yet he does with expert ease and honesty. Catch Maniscalco as he performs one of his six shows at the Arlington Improv, 309 Curtis Mathes Way, between Thursday, March 29, and Sunday, April 1, with two shows on both Friday and Saturday. Visit improv.com/ or call 817-635-5555 for tickets and information on other upcoming shows.
Thursdays-Saturdays, 8 & 10:30 p.m.; Sun., April 1, 7:30 p.m. Starts: March 29. Continues through April 1, 2012
