If you think a honeymoon cruise down the Nile sounds like a good idea, be forewarned–some pretty sketchy stuff has been known to go down there. If you find yourself trapped on a boat with your new hubby’s stalker and an odd assortment of other characters, jump ship and head to Niagara Falls ASAP, because–as Dame Agatha Christie showed us–nothing but trouble can come from such a motley crew. Theatre Three’s theatre-in-the-round is acting as a friendly reminder as it presents Murder on the Nile, based on Christie’s novel Death on the Nile–it’s just what everyone has come to know and love in a murder mystery, in spite of the noticeable lack of detective Hercule Poirot. View a preview performance of Murder on the Nile at 7:30 p.m. Thursday night at Theatre Three in the Quadrangle, 2800 Routh St. Preview performances run through Sunday, with regularly scheduled performances Thursdays through Sundays until April 26. Tickets are $15 to $40. Call 214-871-3300 or visit theatre3dallas.com.

Thursdays, Sundays, 7:30 p.m.; Fridays, Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays, 2:30 p.m.; Mon., March 30, 7:30 p.m.; Wed., April 22, 2 p.m. Starts: March 26. Continues through April 26, 2009
