Mexican artist Rufino Tamayo started off as a professional wrestler, but it was his art that finally took him around the world–from Mexico to New York City to Paris–before finally landing back in his hometown of Oaxaca, where he built his Museo Rufino Tamayo. Through November 1, the Amon Carter Museum (3502 Camp Bowie Blvd. in Fort Worth) will exhibit 16 humanitarian-themed Tamayo prints from their permanent collection. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. Call 817-738-1933 or visit cartermuseum.org.
