Somewhere along the line, Elmo figured out how to trump Muppet icons like Oscar and Big Bird to become the face of Sesame Street. Perhaps it’s his diminutive size or his constant use of the third person, but kids these days just love the little red fur ball, so if you want your tykes to learn a lesson, Elmo’s going to be the best one to teach them. In Sesame Street Live: 123 Imagine! With Elmo & Friends, Elmo and Co. use their usual song and dance to take kids on a big imagination adventure that will teach them they can do just about anything they put their minds to. Sesame Street Live: 123 Imagine! hits the stage at 7 p.m. Thursday (with additional performances through Sunday) at the Nokia Theatre, 1001 Performance Place in Grand Prairie. Tickets are $12 to $34. Call 972-854-5111 or visit sesamestreetlive.com.
