Pink Floyd: gods of the concept album, the conceptual rock tour and, arguably, the conceptual music video. Thanks to the Internet you can now watch Pink Floyd’s The Wall anytime you want, but thanks to Alamo Drafthouse, at 8 p.m. Tuesday you can see the full-length film exactly the way it should be seen, on the big screen, turned up really, really loud. After all, those of us who missed our chance to see a Roger Waters fronted Pink Floyd live on stage have to find some way to relive some of the greatest paranoiac, anti-establishment songs in the history of rock ‘n’ roll. Can I get an amen? Pro tip: Yes, the Alamo Drafthouse does occasionally host sing-a-longs. This is not one of them. On July 15, keep the fact that you know all of the words, to all of the songs, to yourself. Tickets are available at drafhouse.com/dfw for $7.
