With three locations in England, including two in London and one in Birmingham, TOCA Social will make its U.S. debut here at Grandscape in March. The growing chain is billed as the “World’s First Soccer Social Club,” representing an expansion into the eating-meets-entertainment sector from the company behind TOCA Soccer training centers.

TOCA was founded by retired pro midfielder Eddie Lewis, whose 14-year career included playing for the San Jose Clash, L.A. Galaxy and several clubs in England.

First, we gotta ask, Why here, and why now?

Well, there’s that FIFA World Cup thing happening later this year. Though Dallas is definitely known as a football town, this massive futbal tourney happens every four years, and we hear it’s very popular in almost every other place in the world. Come June and July, our town will host nine matches in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and serve as the event’s International Broadcast Center.

TOCA, which is a partner of Major League Soccer (MLS), is positioning TOCA Social as “the region’s permanent home for soccer culture.”

“Bringing our Social flagship home to the U.S., and specifically to a soccer-rich market like Dallas, is a dream realized,” says Lewis.

As for the location, a company spokesperson added, “As one of the largest mixed-use developments in North Texas, Grandscape offers built-in foot traffic and strong destination appeal. Its accessibility, regional draw, and proximity to Toyota Stadium made it the ideal launch location in DFW.”

Well, it’s giving Dave & Busters for the soccer set. Covering 20,000 square feet, it will be filled with neon lights, colorful mini soccer fields, big screens, pleather booths and slick bars. Aiming to create an approachable experience, TOCA advises that guests don’t need to wear cleats or jerseys to start kicking. In fact, we’re told that for just $15, any newbie can hit the ground running with an interactive video soccer game in a so-called “social box.” Guess they haven’t seen our collection of participation trophies. Luckily, foosball and arcade games are also in the mix.

The Fare

Well, we can’t say for sure yet, since there’s nothing to taste, but TOCA appears to be making an effort to appeal to local palates. Texas-specific menu items (priced about $15 and up) will include birria tacos, hatch chili queso with brisket burnt ends, and the Triple T brisket sandwich on Texas toast. Wash all that down with a pint ($6-8) or a ‘Soccer Mom’ cocktail, which is prosecco in a mini Stanley cup. Hey, maybe they do get us after all.

TOCA Social opens to the public on March 6, 2026, at 5740 Grandscape Boulevard, Suite 110, in The Colony. Reservations for groups, individuals, and parties are currently being accepted online.
