Adele was originally set to play the House of Blues back in June in support of her phenomenal, surefire album of the year contender, 21. Everyone seemed super stoked on it at the time, too. But, because of laryngitis, that gig got canceled.
It was soon rescheduled, though, and this time, it was set to take place on October 21 at the much bigger Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie.
Only, um, that gig’s now been canceled, too. For the same reason, even: Laryngitis. Adele announced this afternoon that she will be postponing the remaining ten dates on her current U.S. tour because of, yes, “an inflammation of the larynx.” The Dallas area date was to be the last on her tour.
No word yet on refunds or a second rescheduled date. But we do have word straight from Adele, courtesy of Billboard.
