OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder is a Pop Songwriting Secret Weapon

You could very well be a OneRepublic fan and not even know it. Or at least a Ryan Tedder fan. OK, you could be a fan of Tedder's work and not even know it. You see, Tedder's day job might be singing as OneRepublic's front man, but it's his side...

You could very well be a OneRepublic fan and not even know it. Or at least a Ryan Tedder fan. OK, you could be a fan of Tedder's work and not even know it. You see, Tedder's day job might be singing as OneRepublic's front man, but it's his side gigs that have won him Grammys. OK, he's only won one, but been nominated for, like, three.

Pretty much if Tedder touches a song, whether he helps write or produce it, then there's a good chance it will dominate pop radio. So ahead of OneRepublic's appearance tonight at Gexa Energy Pavilion, here are some of Tedder's biggest hits for other artists.

"Not Over You" by Gavin DeGraw In 2011, Gavin DeGraw had us wondering who the hell would make him sit at a table for two alone. It's songs like this that make us love DeGraw, as well as the people behind it. Tedder co-wrote this song with DeGraw and co-produced it with Jerrod Bettis.

"Halo" by Beyonce If you're writing and producing tracks for the queen of the world in today's music, Beyonce, then we're pretty sure you're doing something right. And it's not just a song that was buried down in some album. The song peaked at No. 5 on Billboard's Hot 100 in 2009 and then it made the cut during Beyonce's Super Bowl melody. Remember those glorious 10 minutes?

"Rumour Has It" by Adele Tedder has said working with Adele was like working with no one else because of her near-perfect pitch. Tedder was the sole producer of this song and co-wrote it with Adele. It's this song that earned him a Grammy, when Adele won Album of the Year in 2012. "Good in Goodbye" by Carrie Underwood Straying just a little from pop, Tedder co-wrote Carrie Underwood's country ballad "Good in Goodbye." Tedder is from Oklahoma, just like Underwood, so maybe country isn't actually too far from his Southern comfort zone.

"Maps" by Maroon 5 God, Adam Levine has it all. There's his supermodel wife, a cushy gig on NBC's The Voice, and a band that can still churn out hits 12 years after its first. One of those hits is "Maps," a song you've probably heard this summer on your way to work. Well, Tedder helped write and produce that one, too.

"Neon Lights" by Demi Lovato Tedder co-produced and helped write this upbeat 2013 track from Lovato's self-titled album. At this point, Tedder can list "create powerful hits for all female pop stars" on the musical resume that we're sure he probably shows to everyone.
