About eight months ago, the Deep Ellum Community Association asked for submissions for a new community logo. Looks like they settled on one yesterday, as well as a collection of logos directed at different aspects of Deep Ellum life: Music, art, food, etc. The above submission by Belmont Icehouse won out.
Sadly, none of our our suggestions made the cut.
What do you think? Is rebranding what will “bring Deep Ellum back”? Does it represent the area, or does it look like the sign for a hip new restaurant?
