Be prepared to witness the before-and-after of Internet hype at this Club Dada show.

Tapes 'n Tapes, quintessential darlings of the blog world, exploded out of Minneapolis with its 2006 debut album, The Loon. After immediately earning praise from bedroom journalists and a rating of 8.3 on Pitchfork, the quartet toured relentlessly and owned SXSW in 2006, performing eight documented shows during the four-day festival. This past year, the group's follow-up, Walk It Off, came with less online fanfare but still held the sincerity and moxie of the debut.

But before Tapes 'N Tapes' members became mp3 legends, they were simply a group of musicians on the cusp—just like their supporting act for this tour, Wild Light. The New Hampshire four-piece is roughly in the same place as this night's headliners were in 2005: This U.S. tour precedes the band's debut album, Adult Nights, out March 3, which stacks nostalgic lyrics atop quirky synth and guitar riffs. Instant scene cred: Bassist Timothy Kyle was a founding member of Arcade Fire.

Arrive early to catch local boys Les Americains kick off the show.
