Your Baseball Season Guide to Pre- and Post-Game Eats and Drinks in Arlington
By Lauren Drewes Daniels
Lady Gaga played back-to-back sold-out shows last summer to hordes of enthused fans at the American Airlines Center, and after another massive year, she returns to the region this week, again as part of the same massive world tour in support of the pop star's second album, 2009's The Fame Monster. But this time around, fans can surely expect a little more: The singer is slated to release her third album, Born This Way, in May, and the lead single and title track has already earned its release and been claimed as a new gay anthem.

No surprise there: Gaga's been long embraced by the gay community, and her live show has always been more of a theatrical affair than your average concert. Beyond the state-of-the-art stage production, design and props galore, there's even a loose plot running through all the glitzy costumes and hooky pop songs. It's pretty much a given: One of this generation's most entertaining performers, Gaga, who has been compared to everybody from Grace Jones to Madonna to Marilyn Manson, will put on an entertaining display.
Flamboyant New York City alt-pop acts Semi Precious Weapons and Scissor Sisters will open the show, warming up the crowd and getting Gaga's "little monsters" in a dancing mood.
