Eliciting the same lustful responses in men and women alike, her brand of electro-pop is about a million miles away from the stuff clogging up the charts by other girls a fraction of her age (she turns 43 at the end of the month), while not sacrificing hooks, age-appropriateness and that ever-important, overriding universal attraction.
