In its ninth year, the event will still feature premier jazz acts such as the Grammy-winning Kirk Whalum and New Orleans trumpeter Kermit Ruffins, but it's also beefed up with a lineup featuring popular non-jazz acts such as Dawes, Lucero, Meat Puppets and Gene Ween, as well as sets from local favorites Seryn, Telegraph Canyon, The Orbans and others.
The two-day event, held on the Will Rogers Memorial Center lawn, is taking a big step this year toward bringing the type of focus to Fort Worth's scene that 35 Denton has brought to its city in recent years. At just $10 a pop for a two-day pass, organizers are off to a fine start.
