Stein Mart’s slogan is “Once you go, you get it.” And they’re right. The first time I went to Stein Mart I was like, “Oh, I get it. It’s for Moms.” Your mom totally goes there, sporting her mom pants and her mom shirt and trying on some nice momcessories. Probably carrying a mom tote of some sort. And from 10 a.m. to noon this Wednesday, your mom would love to go to the Stein Mart Fashion Show and welcoming tea with the Volunteer Guild at the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary, 1 Nature Place in McKinney. Even if the clothes aren’t your speed, you can check out all the cool nature and science stuff going on at the museum. Plus, you’ll hear 10 reasons you should join the Volunteer Guild (reasons one through eight being that it’s a guild that’s tights and swords optional). It’s free. Take your mom.
