Ozomatli’s style-hopping, multicultural blend of hip-hop, rock, funk and Latin is the perfect example of cross-pollination for Univision’s inaugural H20 Festival. While the L.A. group’s elements may be a mélange, and their five albums a series of costume changes, it comes together in a singular idiosyncratic character, which anyone who’s witnessed them live understands. They’re joined by other larger-than-life acts (Snoop Dogg and Damian Marley), buzz darlings (Eminem knock-off Yelawolf, hip-poppers Gym Class Heroes), genre faves (Weezer, trance DJ Tiësto) and a variety of top-shelf Latin artists like Tejano star Bobby Pulido, Tex-Mex legends Intocable, global icon Juanes and pop singer Paulina Rubio.
