When you hear “Flesh World” you probably morph into a teenager and shout, “BEWBS!” in your brain. But don’t. Seriously. In this case Flesh World is less about nakedness and more about life on Earth. (As opposed to the great beyond.) Flesh World is an interactive-art-performance-play about K-Low, a lost soul trying to make sense of life while on her path to reincarnation. Along the way she becomes an undercover spy in the spirit world and consults the audience regarding her destiny. It all takes place in a 36,000-square-foot former welding shop where every inch has been transformed. The audience is limited to 30 to create the desired “intimacy and quality interaction.” Oh yeah, Flesh World is also billed as “the Dead White Zombie premiere production of the world’s most dangerous play.” Check it out at 8 p.m. Thursdays and 8:30 and 9:30 p.m Fridays and Saturdays through June 9 at 500 Singleton Blvd. Tickets are $15 and you can find them on deadwhitezombies.com.
Thursdays-Saturdays. Starts: May 17. Continues through June 9, 2012
