Having trouble sleeping? Then head on over to Bass Performance Hall Tuesday, where George Winston will lull the crowd into a New Age slumber with the soothing sounds of compositions like “Colors/Dance,” “Longing/Love,” “Blossom/Meadow” and “Boring/Narcolepsy.” (OK, so we made that last one up.) Largely known for his series of albums documenting the four seasons, the “Superman of solo instrumental music” has also dedicated an entire album to instrumental Doors covers and, most recently, slyly preceded gay cowboy mania by more than a year with Montana: A Love Story. We’re pretty sure you can buy this kind of music for $12.99 off the rack next to the yoga mats at Whole Foods, but if you’re so inclined, George Winston will administer aural sleep aids starting at 8 p.m. Bass Performance Hall is located at Fourth and Calhoun streets in Fort Worth. Tickets are $29 to $39. Call 1-877-212-4280 or visit www.basshall.com.
Tue., Jan. 31, 8 p.m.
