Local jewelry and gift design duo Shoshannah Frank and Casey Melton are known better for their company name, f. is for frank. Beyond that, the metalsmiths are identified as the women behind the most stylistically interesting works of wearable art in Dallas. Now five years into the business, the team’s new fall line looks like the best we’ve seen yet — and that’s no small feat, considering the lust we already had for their work. In one necklace, the pendant is a long metal park bench where two tiny men sit ogling a clearly uninterested woman. On a ring, a couple embraces. Other pieces are tougher and more structurally abstract, but still beautiful. Get first dibs on this new line Thursday night at the f. is for frank first-look party. It runs from 6 to 9 p.m. and there will be snacks and bevies to help lower your shopping inhibitions. f. is for frank is at 1216 Manufacturing St. Call 214-749-0709, or visit fisforfrank.com.
