There are a multitude of associations that attest to Todd Glass‘ professional success while simultaneously belying his true talent and craftsmanship. He’s in the midst of some Vegas engagements with smarmy elvish wiseacre David Spade, he appeared in Martin Lawrence’s cinematic tour de force Rebound, and he’s been featured on the yawn-a-thon Last Comic Standing not once, not twice, but thrice. To be fair, he was also part of the hipster comedy barometer Mr. Show with Bob & David and everybody’s favorite bestial incest joke documentary, The Aristocrats. But Glass has been rockin’ the mike all funny-like since he was a wee lad of 16, and you don’t spend more than half your life in front of live crowds without learning a thing or three about a thing or two. Or three. His act is casually chaotic and more seasoned than a flank steak, repeatedly crushing unsuspecting audiences. But what the hell do I know? Enjoy a standard 74-drink minimum and let your adrenal glands decide for themselves. Todd Glass performs at the Addison Improv (actually, a two-drink minimum), 4980 Belt Line Road from Thursday through Sunday. Tickets are $15. Call 972-404-8501.

April 20-23
