While the idea of luxuriating in a relaxing wave pool and watching a family film does sound pretty damn cool, it just seems obvious that there would be an elevated opportunity for aquatic mayhem with parents and kids staring up at a movie screen instead of paying attention to the pool occupants. Then again, at least no one will be staring at my thighs. Hmm, weighing the issues, I believe I’ll take my chances, grab a flotation device and rejoice in the fact that certain characters in Madagascar, this week’s Dive-In Movie at NRH20, may be more humorous than my current bathing suit options. Movies begin at dusk every Friday at 9001 Boulevard 26 in North Richland Hills. Park admission is $15.99 to $18.99. Call 817-427-6500 or visit nrh20.com.
