We’re about to mention “tall boy” and “Denton campus” in the same sentence, and there’s no cause for alarm. The premier of British playwright Simon Bent’s The Tall Boy<close> is coming to UNT. Adapted from Kay Boyle’s short story The Lost, The Tall Boy tells the lives of three young men in the aftermath of World War II as seen through the eyes of the matron of a displaced children’s camp. Seasoned actress Tandy Cronyn stars in this one-woman show, portraying the boys as they are rescued by American soldiers, and of their desires to expatriate from their war-torn country for a United States they have only heard about. Showtimes are 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 5 and 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the University of North Texas’ RTFP Building, 115 Chestnut St., Denton. Tickets are $10.
