$10,000

If it excites you when, in a small cell, a gentle curve meets a bold thick line, or when a pop of perfect color conveys an intensified level of action, you have a calling: the Dallas Comic Book Show Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The show offers thousands — seriously, multiple grands, people — of not only comic collectibles, but all the books you’d ever want to board, bag and box. But the action isn’t limited to the exchange of comic funds: The show is bringing special guests Ben Dunn (Marvel Mangaverse, Ninja High School) and Steve Erwin (former DC Comics, Checkmate, Deathstroke) to meet and greet fans. Also, BAM!: Hourly prize drawings mean you could win original art from Dunn or Erwin. Admission is $2 and the event is located in the Doubletree Hotel Dallas Market Center, 2015 Market Center Blvd. Visit comicbooksdallas.com.
