What better way to drink your cosmopolitan than with a splash of culture? Try it at the Nasher Sculpture Center this Thursday night. And if you’re scratching your head then you are sooo out of the scene. Everyone who’s anyone knows every third Thursday, the Nasher goes lounge-like and becomes the N Bar. Appropriately enough, this month’s theme is Holiday Affair, and they are aiming to please. Nasher Communications Manager Kristen Gibbins had me at “Haute Godiva Chocolate Bar.” There wasn’t much more convincing I needed, but she sweetened the deal with food tastings and music by the Phonofreaks. And if that’s not enough, movie critics Chris Vognar and Gary Cogill will be on hand in a salon discussing holiday films.
