I don’t know about you, but I am sick of being too large for ball pits, jungle gyms and enclosed corkscrew slides. I miss the old days when I could giddily run through gaggles of colorful plastic tubes, scrape my knees on concrete and ignore signs dictating how tall I must be to enjoy a ride. If you want to recapture a bit of that childhood glee, then go to Neiman Marcus downtown (1618 Main St.) and crawl through their hamster run-esque window display for Adult Crawl Night, the final time we grown-ups are allowed in those crazy tubes. For a $20 donation to the North Texas Food Bank, adults will be allowed to roll up their sleeves and risk injury to their lower backs for a good cause, with a free cup of coffee at the NM Espresso Bar. You were going to give to the Food Bank anyway, so this works out perfectly. Adult Crawl Night starts at 5 p.m. and ends at 7. Bring your favorite propeller hat, and race aggressively — your inner child will thank you.
