Beginning your path to betterment is a one-weekend-only performance by sexy Scottish violin superstar Nicola Benedetti. She joins the Dallas Symphony Orchestra at 8 p.m. Thursday for a concert that is sure to blow your classical socks off and make your bow tie spin around like a cartoon propeller. This knockout has earned rave reviews from audiences and critics alike, so you needn’t worry: Benedetti’s performance of Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto is sure to wow. Guest conductor Pablo González takes the podium to lead the DSO and Benedetti in music by Romantic greats Dvorak, Tchaikovsky and Brahms.
