I have the upper-arm strength of an infant. I can lift boxes of moderate weight, the occasional appliance and adjust myself on the couch when my legs have fallen asleep, but I can safely say I am in no shape to climb a mountain. Watching other people do it, however, is terribly inspiring. The IMAX film EVEREST (as in Mount) returns to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History’s Omni Theater Friday and runs daily through January 7, 2007. It features the first large-format photographs ever successfully brought back from the mountain and is the “highest-grossing giant screen film in history.” Forget my noodle arms, EVEREST is one helluva strong film.
