Karen King, professor of ecclesiastical history at Harvard Divinity School and author of The Gospel of Mary of Magdala, will be discussing her newest book, Reading Judas: The Gospel of Judas and the Shaping of Christianity, co-authored with Elaine Pagels, 7 p.m. Thursday at Highland Park United Methodist Church, 3300 Mockingbird Lane.
