From Minnie Pearl to Dolly Parton to Amy Sedaris, Southern chicks have always played an important role in the comedy world. And judging by the promotional video on their Web site, it’s possible the women of the Southern Fried Chicks Comedy Tour—Leanne Morgan, Karen Mills and Etta May—might ruin the reputation these trailblazers have earned for Southern femi-humor all by themselves. If you’ve ever wondered what Larry the Cable Guy, Jeff Foxworthy and Bill Engvall would sound like with ovaries, then you probably live in Mesquite, and this show will make all your dreams come true. The Southern Fried Chicks Comedy Tour rolls into the Eisemann Center, 2351 Performance Place in Richardson, for six performances starting at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Tickets are $29 to $35.
