Mark Frauenfelder isn’t human. The former editor-in-chief at Wired magazine online just does too much to be mortal. When he breaks from contributing to The New York Times Magazine, Popular Science, Business Week, The Hollywood Reporter or Wired, the efficiency aficionado is banging out his next DIY project to be published in Make Magazine, which he currently governs as the editor-in-chief. No big deal. Good news North Texas: Cyborg Mark also saved time to share his DIY wisdom and efficiency advice with you. On Thursday at The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History (1600 Gendy St.), Mark Frauenfelder will be lecturing about “The Maker Movement,” and the positive effects doing it yourself can have. Tickets range $10 to $12. Get ’em at fwmuseum.org or at the door before the lecture’s 7 p.m. start.
