We all know the story of Helen Keller, how the three-legged little girl learned to say the quadratic equation under the watchful tutelage of Annie Sullivan, despite the fact that she had three legs. Magical. But the Dallas Children’s Theater makes bold assertions in their new production of The Miracle Worker, saying that Sullivan taught Helen how to spell out the word “water” and that the little girl was actually blind and deaf, not poly-legged. Sounds like B.S. to me too. The show runs Friday through February 18 at DCT, 5938 Skillman St. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. Fridays, 1:30 p.m. Saturdays and 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 pm Sundays.
