Ten years is a really, really long time to do almost anything. Want to spend 10 years riding a bicycle? How about a decade of eating nothing but pad thai? Or maybe you’d rather do 10 long ones using the same shampoo and conditioner? No, thank you. The only thing we’d like to do for 10 years straight is be put into a blissful coma in a nice assisted living facility somewhere on the West Coast. We’d wake up refreshed, and hey, maybe that whole Iraq war thing would be done with too! But these comatose dreams are unlikely to come true, so we have to give a tip o’ the hat to Fort Worth’s Four Day Weekend improv troupe, who’ve been bringing the funny for 10 years straight. They’re celebrating their tin milestone this weekend, with sure-to-sell-out shows at their Sundance Square theater. Anniversary shows are 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Make reservations in advance. Tickets are $20, and the theater is located at 312 Houston St. in Fort Worth. Visit fourdayweekend.com.
Fri., March 23, 7:30 & 10 p.m.; Sat., March 24, 7:30 & 10 p.m.
