Grab your favorite taffeta dress, book a radical stretch limo and get ready for a night to remember, because Burlesque Prom is upon us. Putting an adults-only twist on one of high school’s most time-honored traditions, Viva Dallas Burlesque brings a new kind of formal to the Lakewood Theater (1825 Abrams Parkway). Host Violet O’Hara will crown a new prom queen with a night of live performances by Iris Le Mour, Pollie Nigma and The Lauras, along with plenty of other Lone Star State burlesque faves. And don’t forget to dress for the occasion, because there will be a costume contest for the best dressed and a photo booth to provide you with your prom souvenirs.
