Did you know Deepak Chopra gave spiritual advice to 50 Cent? Why that relationship was never turned into a reality show is an unsolvable riddle, but he taught Curtis Jackson how to meditate by giving him the mantra “I am.” Chopra’s status as a celebrity advisor might often overshadow the more basic spiritual teachings that made him so famous, but synergy is part of his longevity. He’s just paired up with Oprah to present a 21-day online meditation class, and last year he started selling his own line of pills, Endorphinate, which cover a vague spectrum of ailments, like “anxiety, cravings, anger and fatigue.” Chopra will speak at the Winspear Opera House (2403 Flora St.), testing out a few of his wellness theories. Show starts at 7:30 p.m., and tickets cost $30 to $65. Call 214-880-0202 or visit attpac.org for more info.
