I know, I know. We’re all waiting for Flashdance at the end of the month, but in the meantime, Dallas Summer Musicals presents another Broadway tale of overcoming adversity and learning the value of being yourself: Sister Act. If you thought the plot of this Whoopi Goldberg film could only exist in the early ’90s (woman witnesses crime, hides in convent, high jinks, etc.), get thee to the Music Hall at Fair Park (909 1st Ave.) for some Sunday service, and a whole lotta sequined habits. See it at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, with matinee showtimes at 1:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Show ends June 16, and tickets cost $20-$85. Call 214-565-1116 or visit dallassummermusicals.org for more info.
