What parent has not used that most despicable of embarrassment methods—singing what he or she believes is “cool” music at top volume in front of their offspring’s friends? In case you just couldn’t get enough of that as a teen, you can experience something quite similar this Friday at the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra’s Concert in the Garden. The FWSO will be performing Led Zeppelin songs—much like when your dad belted out that Limp Bizkit tune. (He did it all for the…wookie?) The concert is at 3220 Botanic Garden Blvd. in Fort Worth, and gates open at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $15 to $45. Visit fwsymphony.org.

Fri., July 6, 6:30 p.m.
