The plight of the office drone is the subject of Good Nuts, the latest play at Ochre House (825 Exposition Ave.). But, this being Ochre House, it’s not that black and white. Indeed, there is much color to Kevin Grammer’s script, which follows Ochre House faves Carla Parker, Trent Stephenson, Brian Witkowitcz and Marti Etheridge around their dreary office as they slip in and out of mundane tasks and depraved acts, and their floating head of a boss (Ben Bryant) barks orders from a video screen. As with many Ochre House plays, the dialogue moves quickly, and the intimate set has been expertly decorated by Grammer to mirror the windowless terror of the modern workplace. What kind of nuts are they selling? Good question. Shows run at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, through June 15. Tickets cost $15. Visit ochrehousetheater.com or call 214-826-6273.
Wednesdays-Saturdays. Starts: June 7. Continues through June 15, 2013
