When summer’s sun hits Dallas, our city streets empty. We become night owls, rising at dusk and venturing outside with the stars. Sadly, we’re missing the operating hours of most museums and amusement options, and kid-friendly activities are traditionally limited to the pre-primetime hours. But not this weekend, because it’s time once again for another installment of ’Til Midnight at the Nasher Sculpture Center (2001 Flora St.). Keep the little ones up late on Friday as the Nasher plays host to tunes and toons, namely a live concert by Oil Boom followed by an outdoor screening of Cars. The fun starts at 6 p.m. and lasts, of course, till midnight in the Nasher Garden. Drinks, snacks and pre-ordered picnic baskets will be available from the Nasher Café. Call 214-242-5100 or visit nashersculpturecenter.org.
