You often consider how much better the world would be if someone would simply respond to your letter-writing campaign. Your wants are simple and concise: draft a stage production that marries your love of “rival camps on opposite sides of the lake” story lines to Caddyshack (the first one, naturally). Well, hold onto your spiked loafers with ruffled front flaps, because have I got news for you: This play exists. Not only does this play exist, it’s called The Fox on the Fairway and it was written by three-time Tony winner Ken Ludwig. Also, it’s the current offering at Stage West (821 W. Vickery Blvd., Fort Worth), running Thursdays through Sundays until August 11, technically beginning on Saturday, July 6. See, Friday is a special preview evening, meaning you get in for a cool $15, rather than the standard $28 to $32. Friday’s curtain is at 8 p.m. Get your ticket at stagewest.org.
Thursdays-Sundays. Starts: July 5. Continues through Aug. 11, 2013
