In alternate universes, hats can be damn scary and extremely dangerous — at least that’s what we gather from Captain Kurt and the rest of the Starship Compromise crew, head mockers of the latest Pocket Sandwich parody, Star Trip II — Hats of Horror. Watch as the starfleeters take on evil hats in their natural habitat as the Pocket Sandwich Theatre (5400 E. Mockingbird Lane, #119) presents Joe Porter’s homage to all things Trekkie. Yet another alternate reality Star Trek spoof, Star Trip II takes audiences on a journey of comedic punnery and flying concessions. Laugh long and toss popcorn at the audience-participation performance 8 p.m. Thursday at the Pocket Sandwich Theatre.
