If your mother died in jail, imprisoned for murdering your father, and your fancy new fiancé fears you harbor similar murderous tendencies, what would you do? While most of us would either kick the dude to the curb or run and hide from the everlasting familial tragedy, Carla Le Merchant instead turned to detective Justin Fogg to clear her mother’s name and prove to her man that she probably won’t kill him in wedded bliss. Gathering all of the usual suspects, Carla and Justin ferret through a bunch of red herrings and enough he said/she said to put Rashomon to shame in an effort to identify the real murderer in Garland Civic Theatre’s presentation of Go Back for Murder, the stage adaptation of Agatha Christie’s Five Little Pigs. See if you can figure out who the real killer is in the small theater of the Granville Arts Center, 300 N. 5th St. There will be additional performances through September 14.
