If you, like many die-hard musical fans in the area, walked around singing “All that Jazz,” for days after Chicago came through town–you’re in luck. From the creators of Chicago and Cabaret comes Curtains, a Tony Award-winning musical sure to inspire you to buy the soundtrack. (Much to the chagrin of anyone unlucky enough to hear your off-key impressions.) Full of murder and mystery, the story follows a young–and terribly untalented–starlet, who is killed on her opening night. It’s up to a cunning detective, who happens to spend his evenings taking in the theatre, to solve this cryptic case. And in the meantime, maybe he can scrape together a little love affair, too. Come see the plot play out in melodic fashion Friday through October 24 at the Runway Theatre in Grapevine. For more information, call 817-488-4842 or visit runwaytheatre.com.

Fridays, Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sundays, 3 p.m. Starts: Oct. 1. Continues through Oct. 24, 2010
