Everyone knows that The Godfather Part III sucked. Seriously, Coppola should have left well enough alone, because the first two films are among the greatest movies ever made. But when it comes to which was better, The Godfather or its sequel/prequel (creatively titled The Godfather Part II), well, everyone has something to say about that. That’s how we know that the programmers of this season of The Big Movie have a tough job when making their movie choices. You may not have had a say in the film selection, but you can debate the virtues of all of the Corleone chronicles with fellow gangster geeks when you spend some quality time with America’s favorite family at a special screening of The Godfather Part II at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Magnolia Theatre (3699 McKinney Ave.). Tickets are $8.50 to $10.50. Call 214-683-9134 or visit landmarktheatres.com.
