Finally–a chance to go laugh at the efforts of art students. We’re not talking about mocking some UTD sophomore’s rickety wire sculpture or indulgent self-portrait, as satisfying as it might be to that horrible part of you that secretly wants to tell them to give up on their dreams. These students actually want you to laugh at them–because they are students of the art of improv comedy. Each Thursday, two improv troupes made up of Dallas Comedy House students take audience suggestions and put on a comedy show. This month, Captain Donkeyface and Mr. Ponytail headline the Free Popcorn And Comedy Show at 8 p.m. each Thursday.
