$10,000

Our parents used to throw us kids in the backseat with a bunch of comforters and then drive around town so we could check out the Christmas lights and displays. It was awesome, and way cheaper than going to the movies. Watters Creek is turning our ritual into an event, with all its stores and restaurants decorating their windows for the Holiday Window Walk challenge. Starting Saturday, stuffy-nosed little kids and adults are invited to cast their votes for the best window display. The top three choices will receive a cash donation to a charity of their choice when the walk closes on Christmas Eve. Visit watters-creek.com for more info.
