A lot happens as time spans more than a decade. Hair styles change, people expand and contract, politics sees new faces, landscapes morph. ELLEven not only marks the 11 years Elledanceworks has spent as a company, but it’s also a physical and visual tribute to those experiences and subsequent responses (both general and personal) people have over the course of time. Elledanceworks celebrates the closing of their 11th season with a concert premiering works by company directors Ronelle Eddings and Michele Hanlon, as well as company member Tracy Kennedy. Audiences of dance lovers, as well as those new to the art form, can relate to Elle’s emotive yet accessible performances, this time touching on themes of aging, politics, career and family. Thursday through Saturday at the Bath House Cultural Center, 521 E. Lawther Drive, sit back and watch the beautiful movements that 11 years made possible. Performances begin at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12 to $15. Call 214-366-0630.
Thu., June 19, 8 p.m.; Fri., June 20, 8 p.m.; Sat., June 21, 8 p.m., 2008
