It’s that time of year again, when we ruin perfectly good eggs with color dye, put on our Sunday-best clothing and set out our empty Easter baskets for the mysterious, oversized bunny to bring us sugary goodness. If you or your child are impatient and ready to see some furry mammals with cottontails ASAP, then you can visit the Dallas Children’s Theater this month to see its rendition of classic children’s story The Tale of Peter Rabbit. Peter Rabbit just happens to be a rebellious young bunny who likes to invade gardens and annoy farmers, while amusing us along the way. Let the hopping begin Friday through April 19 at Dallas Children’s Theater (5938 Skillman St.). Ticket prices range from $14 to $24. For showtimes and more information, please call 214-740-0051 or check out dct.org.
First Sunday of every month, 1:30 p.m.; Fridays, 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays, 1:30 p.m.; Sundays, 4:30 p.m.; Sat., April 18, 1:30 p.m.; Sun., April 19, 1:30 & 4:30 p.m. Starts: March 1. Continues through April 5, 2009
