When technology fails, just about everything else does too. At least, that’s what most of us seem to think these days. As soon as the computer crashes or the satellite shorts out, it’s pretty tough to go through the day with just the bare essentials. Consider this strange new reality as The University of Texas at Dallas presents Glitch, a video exhibition that highlights a group of artists’ investigation of digital error through video, stills and sound. The exhibition kicks off Saturday at Centraltrak, 800 Exposition Ave., and runs through Saturday, February 5. Gallery hours are noon to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays. Admission is free. For more information, visit centraltrak.org.
Sat., Jan. 15, 6-8 p.m.; Wednesdays-Saturdays, 12-5 p.m. Starts: Jan. 15. Continues through Feb. 5, 2011
