Lint can be annoying. I mean, why can’t it just fall somewhere and disintegrate? Not only can lint be pretty annoying, but just about every small particle hanging around the house. But what if those annoying little things around the house became the inspiration of an entire are exhibition? That’s right, artist Isabelle Scurry Chapman is ready to showcase Birds of Lint, an exhibition featuring bird sculptures made of dryer lint, wire, threat, dried flowers and just about every other particle hanging around the house. Chapman, who has studied art at multiple schools including Glassel School of Art, has exhibited her work all over Texas. The birds are on display now through February 12 at The MAC, 3120 McKinney Ave. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdaysm. Admission is free.
